They envisioned a modern pool house that would transform the backyard into a private retreat—one where they could exercise, entertain friends, prepare simple meals, and unwind beside the pool overlooking the water.

What began as an open piece of land became a thoughtfully planned destination that feels connected to the main home while offering its own distinct experience.

Designing an Addition That Belongs

The completed pool house was designed around the way the homeowners actually live. Spaces for fitness, entertaining, overnight guests, and quiet afternoons by the water all work together under one roof.

Just as important was making the addition feel like a natural extension of the home. Matching roofing materials and exterior finishes creates a cohesive relationship between the two buildings.

The placement of the pool house, pool, and surrounding outdoor spaces was carefully planned to balance privacy, views, and circulation. Curved natural stone walkways and thoughtfully placed landscaping soften the hardscape, creating a natural flow between the main home, pool, and new addition.
