Owner’s Suite Bathroom Remodel
A new layout brings light, openness, and functionality—with double sinks, expanded storage, and a shower—built for two.
Light, Airy, and Built for Two
In this home located along Lakeview Drive, we took the owner’s suite bathroom down to the studs to create a space that feels both elegant and spa-like. The new layout brings light, openness, and functionality—with double sinks, expanded storage, and a shower heads on both ends.

From Outdated to Serenity
The entry door to the bathroom was also converted to a pocket door. This change required reframing and electrical adjustments but opened up valuable space and improved movement within the room.

Solving What’s Behind the Walls
One benefit of demoing down to the studs is the opportunity to address hidden issues before they become bigger problems. In this case, a ceiling leak led us to discover an exhaust fan that hadn’t been properly vented to the exterior. Once resolved, we moved forward with reconfiguring the space for improved flow and function.

Double Vanities, Personalized Space
The reimagined layout includes two separate vanities, giving each homeowner their own space—complete with generous counter area and dedicated drawer storage

Storage That Works Hard
A tall linen cabinet extends to the ceiling and matches the rest of the cabinetry, creating a cohesive look. Inside, six pull-out drawers offer practical storage—perfect for makeup, hair tools, and smaller everyday essentials.

Privacy with Purpose
A pony wall separates the shower from the toilet, offering privacy while also concealing a few practical touches—hooks for towels and a ledge for shaving essentials. Custom glass panels maintain an open feel and keep water in check without obstructing the design.

Bold Touches in a Neutral Palette
While the overall palette is soft and timeless, we introduced a new tile choice within the shower niche. A glass tile from Lunada Bay’s Luce Fin collection in the color Sani, finished in Pearl, adds subtle shimmer and contrast.
The shower wall tile was stacked vertically, drawing the eye upward and emphasizing height, while also making maintenance easier with fewer grout joints.
